Founder: Jolene Rey
Traits: Absent-minded, Dislikes Kids, Shy, Unflirty, Unlucky
LTW: Surrounded By Family (Raise 5 kids to Teenager)
We start our story with Jolene working on the bucket of rust that she picked up to work on for a profit outside her small house. I suck at building so don't expect much. I love Midnight Hallow but I couldn't afford anything that would give us room for expansion so I'm left building as I can afford it.
You can see the two methods of income that I chose for Jolene, the chicken coup from the store and the beekeeping hive from Supernatural.

| Julian Poirot and Jolene |
She invited Julian over the next day and eventually they worked up to flirting and turned it into a date.
As soon as the option came up, Jolene went in for the knock up. She hid the condoms and lured Julian on to her bed.
Chimes were heard.
Jolene sent single Julian home still happily in love with her. She wanted to make sure those chimes were accurate before breaking his heart.
Jolene didn't have enough money for a table right off so meals were had in the classiest of locations, sitting on the bathroom toilet.
Jolene used the time she had as a free single lady to go to the alchemy shop and see if they had any interestng useful potions in stock to help her accomplish her goals. She also used the opportunity to work on the cashier eyeing him up as a future baby daddy.
As soon as she knew for certain she was with child, she invited her first baby daddy over and told him that she was sorry, but that they would have to just be friends.

| Interior of the house to show layout and what furnishing she started with |
She enjoyed another delightful dinner in her bathroom. Her house was small, but she had the necessities for her offspring and for functioning and she knew she would eventually be able to expand.
Adele Rey
Traits: Light Sleeper, Clumsy
Father: Julian Poirot
It was a rough pregnancy for poor Jolene. She gave birth to her daughter and promptly peed her pants.
She attempted to resume care for her beehive and found her bees to be very unhappy with her.
They promptly punished her for her neglect of them. They didn't care she'd been pregnant and unable to care for them.
Jolene wasted no time in calling over her next target, Monty Prince. She chatted him up not caring that her daughter was sleeping in the next room or that Monty had a significant other Clarice.
Monty didn't seem to have any hesitations as Jolene seduced him right into her bed...
Soon they were knocking boots and making bells ring. Never mind the baby in a cradle across from them, wasn't a mood killer at all.
Jolene picked up Adele and followed her strutting stud to the bathroom. She snuggled her daughter and then set to the business of making sure Monty had no illusions about where their relationship was going.
She told him in no uncertain terms, that they were only going to be friends. That while he'd been a nice tumble in the hay. She didn't want to be more than that and she sent him packing to his girlfriend's house.
Before her pregnancy could limit her abilities she tried to take care of her bees, but they remained angry with her.
She decided to check the alchemy shop for interesting potions so she put Adele in her stroller and off they went. (I had never used the stroller before and it amused me to no end to watch)
Showing what a classy mom she was, Jolene immediately left her daughter on the floor of the store to run around meeting men and working on her future baby daddy relations.
She made some waffles to put in the frig for easy meals. She burned the first batch. (It should be noted that while I did buy a burglar alarm to protect her view belongings due to her limited income, I am not allowing her a fire alarm.)
By this time Jolene had managed to make enough money with her bees and chickens to buy some cows (Milkin' It Dairy Corral - store content). She was bummed to find out that while she could get free milk, she did not appear to be able to make money with her cows. (I hadn't used the cows, so I didn't realize that the milk has no value, if there is a way to make money with this item, I'm not aware of it.)
Adele aged to toddler and shows that she really does have her daddy's skin tone.
Jolene continued to visit the alchemy shop every chance she got and soon ended up in labor, Adele at her feet. She rushed off to the hospital and a babysitter came picked up Adele and returned home with her.
Surprisingly even though she'd kicked him to the curb, Monty showed up for the birth of their child. He followed her home, and while she was running around taking care of the new baby and Adele, took a nap in her rocking chair.
Bryan Rey
Traits: Artistic, Good
Father: Monty Prince
On his way home, a zombie started to attack Monty.
But stopped when he recognized her and started chatting her up.
Jolene worked on potty training Adele.
Jolene also took the time to teach Adele to walk.
Bryan aged to toddler.
Adele was constantly asking Jolene to rock with her in the chair via the baby monitor (Store content).
Jolene was worried about her lack of being pregnant as she was taking care of her two toddlers, so she invited over Morgan Yates, threw a friendship potion she'd picked up at the alchemy store at him, and wooed him on her bed.
In very short order, their clothes were off and they were making babies.
Immediately after she let Morgan know that she just wasn't feeling it and could they just be friends.
He didn't seem too heartbroken though because he continued to strut around the house and made himself at home for a bit.
Jolene worked on teaching Adele to talk and explained to her that the baby monitor was for if she needed food or the potty, NOT to ask Jolene to rock her constantly.
Since Adele learned to walk, talk and use the potty, it was time for her to age to child. Jolene helped Adele aged up and then promptly walked away, having lost interest.
Adele didn't mind as she helped herself to cake. She gained the trait Slob, because that's really what this house needs on top of a mother who has no time to even sleep. (Yes it was randomized.)
Soon Adele started showing signs that the force was strong in Morgan and that the chimes had rang true.
Adele didn't let pregnancy, a toddler and a child or the snow storm keep her from visiting the alchemy shop and meeting more men. She really had her eye on that cashier, but hadn't figure out how to lure him to her home to knock her up yet. He seemed to be constantly working.
Jolene and Bryan worked on his skills while listening to kiddie music and perhaps Jolene should have stopped sooner because this time she didn't make it to the toilet before becoming sick.
Soon Adele rushed off the hospital where she gave birth to Morgan's twin boys.

Traits: Artistic, Disciplined
Father: Morgan Yates
Cole Rey
Traits: Couch Potato, Genius
Father: Morgan Yates
Morgan showed up at the hospital but lost interest in his sons soon enough...
And when Jolene left with one son... He left the other laying in the snow!?!
Jolene worked on getting all of her offspring home, while Morgan apparently cared enough to follow her home, but not enough to help. He took a nap in the rocking chair.
Life around the Rey house was very crazy. You can see here that the bathroom sink broke, there are usually dishes everywhere, babies and toddler share a room, and Jolene has to catch naps whenever she can manage it between diapers, feedings and teaching her children. Also you can see how the house has expanded gradually from the profits from the chicken coup.
All the kids in one room means when one gets unhappy, they all get unhappy.
In trying to get rid of one of the imaginary friends, I accidentally brought it to life. Adele likes to play with her only friend in the snow. She has not yet attended school because it loves to snow. Constantly. School is constantly cancelled. At this point I doubt she will even get to attend school once as a child. She doesn't seem to mind.
Adele managed to teach Bryan to walk, talk and use the potty in spite of being run ragged by her two babies, 1 toddler and 1 child so it was time to age him to child.
Bryan aged up in some styling pink jammies and gained the trait Bookworm.
Soon Adele and Bryan were bonding building a snow man in the yard while their mother toiled over their baby brothers.
Jolene likes to rock her babies in her small living room.
Her bees continue to hate her when she attempts to take care of them.
We end this chapter with Jolene throwing up for a reason other than pregnancy. Maybe it was the weather, but it might have been bad food. I don't know how she'd have gotten it, but I'm genuinely not sure. She just started getting sick.
Current Baby Count: 4
Current Baby Daddy Count: 3
Random thoughts: I thought it would be harder for Jolene to woe her baby daddies when I gave her the unflirty and shy traits. However she doesn't gain the ability to flirt with the men until it's almost a guarantee they will respond well to the interactions. This is making it easier to determine when it would be appropriate to do it. She has not "dated' any of her baby daddies. She asks them to be just friends as soon as I'm sure she's knocked up. I think she may have a reputation but so far it hasn't hindered me. She is using online dating to meet men. Yes I am allowing her to use store bought potions because her income is limited as is her time. I eventually want her to take up alchemy but she hasn't had the time or money to purchase the station for her home yet.
Her chicken coup allows her to make small amounts of money on a regular basis. She does get lucky with rare exotic eggs sometimes, but with her trait of unlucky I figure the odds are not in her favor so it's not enough to consider it a cheat. She doesn't have the collection helper to help find collectibles and this is the first time I've played in Midnight Hallow. I am not familiar with the spawn locations in this town yet. It's hit and miss if I see them.
Her luck with the bees is horrible. She just can't tend it often enough while pregnant to keep the bees happy. I would sell it, but I intend to make her teenagers take care of it so that she has the beeswax for alchemy.
The Milkin' It Dairy Corral cost a lot of money, but didn't generate any. I had never used it before, but it seemed to fit the idea of the house. The milk is useful for Jolene to carry around and it hasn't spoiled in inventory yet. Also you can work on logic by playing Tic-Tac-Moo with the cows.
Jolene almost always has a negative moodlet from being around strangers even at home if she hasn't made friends with her children yet. She also is usually upset about being around her kids. She does seem to roll wishes around her children though and constantly wishes to get married.
I haven't been able to figure out when to invite the consignment cashier over. He seems to always be at work no matter the hour. I may have to install something at the alchemy shop that allows woohoo.
I put out the car from Roaring Heights hoping that she'd have more time to work on it, but she hasn't had enough time yet. Eventually we'll get it fixed and ready to sell and it will be a much needed cash infusion.
I have decided that for naming the babies, each baby daddy's children get the next letter in the alphabet which is why Julian's daughter started with an A (Adele), Monty's with a B (Bryan), and Morgan with a C (Colin and Cole). It will help me to keep track of who the daddies were and gives me a naming policy to follow. The names are just whatever pops into my head that starts with that letter when Jolene goes into labor.
